Witam! Ze swojej strony dodam, że polskiej lokalizacji na razie nie będzie (przynajmniej wykonanej przez ATO), gdyż autor nie jest takową zainteresowany. Jeśli chcecie aby się takowa lokalizacja ukazała, gadajcie z Dietmarem. Ja nic więcej nie wskóram (próbowałem 2 lata temu, proşowałem rok temu, próbowalem dzisiaj i nic).

Please don't send me e-mails regarding a Polnish translation. As Mandi pointed out, I'm not seeking additional translations. The software is too complex to be translated properly, with many hundred pages of documentation, menus, macros and online help. And I don't like the idea of a partial translation at all (unprofessional). In that case, I prefer consistency, ie. English. Another matter is that GoldED changes too often and keeping translations up-do-date, testing the menus, updating installation scripts, etc. would be a headache for me. I just don't have the time and patience to deal with that matter.

The program can not be translated by translating a catalog. Sure, there are a couple of catalogs, for main strings and for online help and for some tools. However, while these are quite large, they contain only a very small fraction of the content that needs to be translated, if we are talking about a consistent translation. The rest is in macros (500+ KB), in menu presets, in other localized presets, directly in source codes etc. Not to speak of roughly 200 pages manuals, guides, very complex installation scripts (10000+ lines) etc. Partial translation would produce an annoying mix of languages which is not acceptable for a professional program. And a near-complete translation is virtually impossible (months of work) and would be total overkill for the small Amiga market. Finally, if there was one, it would be outdated quickly. Sorry guys.

Ja może bym się i zglosił ale tak naprawdę to mi nie jest on potrzebny. To co mam do edycji tekstów wystarcza aż zanadto, a jako edytora C/C++ używam tego z StormC4 (przyzwyczaiłem się do niego i bardzo go polubiłem). Poza tym ja częściej potrzebuję edytora tekstów potrafiącego zawijać wiersze i pozwalającego pisać ciągłym tekstem bez enterów co wiersz.
