Dla tych, co nie wiedzą o co chodzi Yannick Erb portował program do grafiki wektorowej AMIFig. Z dyskusji na AE wynika, że ten port oparty o źródła uniksowego XFig ma uzyskać wsparcie dla współczesnych formatów.

A quick summary on what's new at this stage compared to previous OS3 version:
- Import through Datatypes,
- Export to PNG through Datatypes,
- Rotated texts are displayed on screen and in PNG exports
Soon to come:
- use of TTEngine.library to display text,
- possibility to select equivalent TTF Font for each PS/Latex font (screen display should be as close as possible to final document)
Next on list
- GUI for fig2dev that will be called by the export function,
- possibility to export to PS/EPS/SVG and others (thanks to fig2dev)
fig2dev is already able to convert .fig files to .ps,.eps or .svg but the resulting file is somewhat wrong (for SVG file it seems that there is a problem with depth handling)
If you have other functionalities that you would like to see implemented / other bugs that you have found, please use the tracker on Sourceforge.
