Rapidshare is not a good idea. Not everybody can have access to this site.

give it file to testers, is not problem at all. problem just found someone who can loose some of pretty time (i mean really, not like i can, but can not) for this kind of (not so interesting maybe) work.

[#39] Re: Betatesters with BlizzardVision / CyberVision wanted !

@kas1e, post #25

hi kas1e,
I have received your mail, but I had no time to run my Pegasos and check it. Finally, I have managed ;) to do it today morning...
First attempt to run it was unsuccedeed - there appeared window with three buttons (morphos, music and sound effect and some AHI mode). I tried to change some - it worked, but program didn't start after I clicked on "run" (exit didn't work too). The second run (after reboot) was succesfull, that time I didn't touch any button except "run" :) .
Your production ran well, but there was some bugs: strange artifacts located on the left and top edge of the screen and on the top side of displayed pictures (i.e. during changing music).
Other things: it was stable, music was playing nice...
I will try to do some more detailed tests and record it with my camera this evening.

@wali7, post #39

Wali7 , which mos version do you have ? i tested it on 4-5 pegasoses, and no any 'artifacts'... maybe you have old version of r200.library ? Problem with 'blocking' on options menu, was happened on the one pegasos, but on os4/os3/winaue these kind of problem is not happened at all..

What about artefacts , i need to see shoots.. (plz send it on my mail if you can)

Wali7, bloking in option menu already fixed. I still in interest about 'artefacts'...
[#42] Re: Betatesters with BlizzardVision / CyberVision wanted !

@kas1e, post #40

hi, I am user of MOS 1.4.5 on Pegasos II G4 with Radeon 8500 graphics card. Memory is 512 MB, I am using apooler (rapidly speeds up Sputnik). I think I have all standard elements of public MOS version with public uppgrade of 3d system. I run it on 24 bit screen.
"Artefacts" means some top lines of screen are multiplying during scrolling down, and remains there. The same situation is on the left screen edge - some picture fragments build kind of pattern on this place. Artefacts apears also above the pictures during scrolling down.
In general this bugs seems not to be severe problem, screen is pretty readable, but it is quite annoying.
I was testing it only about 5 minutes, when I have more time, I will test it longer (maybe this evening).

wali7, maybe one little screenshoot ?:)

[#45] Re: Betatesters with BlizzardVision / CyberVision wanted !

@wali7, post #44

Wali7, thanks. Got it. You have old r200.library, i am sure on 99%. Becouse this kind of problem i already catch some time ago, and i talk with mos devels team (it was one year ago). And they said that yes, here is was a bug with W3D_Scissor function (as you can se on your shoots, just some of X/Y chords do not 'scissors' correctly, and show what do no need show. Here is:

10.06.2006 - MorphOS 3D Update release 2

A new version of the MorphOS 3D Update has been released. The changes since the previous release are:

* r200, rv250 and rv280 cards (8500, 9000, 9100, 9200, 9250) now work on Pegasos 1.
* Fixed a rare lockup condition on r200 (8500, 9100).
* Fixed a random crash on starting the first 3D application on Pegasos 1.
* Fixed a scissoring problem on r200, rv250 and rv280 (8500, 9000, 9100, 9200, 9250)
* Minor speedups and improvements

The update can be downloaded from http://download.morphos-team.net/ or the MorphOS FTP site.

So, you need to update your r200.library, and try it again (if you want of course :) )

@kas1e, post #45

hi,
you are right... I am suprised because I was sure that I have
installed all updates, but it was not true :) After I have installed
the latest 3d update for Morphos Vague started to run without any
problems and strange artefacts. It looks nice, works also fine and
articles are very interesting. thank you :)
[#47] Re: Betatesters with BlizzardVision / CyberVision wanted !

@wali7, post #46

Thanks for tests :) I also send you new binary which fixed problem with option window, check it also plz
[#48] Re: Betatesters with BlizzardVision / CyberVision wanted !

@kas1e, post #47

ok, I have received it. Everything is OK, it works :)
[#49] Re: Betatesters with BlizzardVision / CyberVision wanted !

@wali7, post #48

At this moment, only Skolman help me with BVision tests, and i almost fixed bvision version. Anybody else with bvision ?:)

ps. if someone in interest, i was made a test on 040-25mhz / bvision today, and was recieved a video of 'how it works', and with paula mode it's very usable i must say. Only article rendering take not 1 second, but 2-3. Maybe it also in fact of old HDD. Anyway, 040/25mhz it's very poor cpu, and i am really satisfaced that minimum req. is not 060/50mhz, but 040/25mhz.
