Kolejna "Amiga"... Tym razem coś ala CD 32.
Autor pisze:
I removed CD-ROM support from the CDex32 project because original CD32 discs are rare 🎵💿 and almost all games are already preserved digitally. This makes the console simpler without losing any of the experience. ⚡
The name comes from:
CD = CD32
EX = Emulation Experience
32 = a tribute to the Commodore CD32 🎮
The idea is to deliver a true plug and play experience: power it on, pick your game, and play — no prepared USB sticks needed (like with TheA500 Mini) and no “computer focus” (like the A600GS). 🔌🕹️
The CDex32 was also designed with collectors in mind. Since games can start automatically when you insert a USB stick, it’s possible to create custom USBs with unique cases, turning them into collectible items just like the old physical game boxes. 📦✨
And beyond the veterans, it also aims to attract the new generation, who don’t want to mess with system configurations. They can see the CDex32 as a simple and fun way to discover the Amiga as an accessible console. 🚀👾
It's a work in progress and I believe the up to the end of the year will be finished.
