AROS One 2.3, nowa wersja dystrybucji AROS x86 ABIv0, w tym wydaniu pojawiło się wiele nowych funkcji, aktualizacji oprogramowania podstawowego i firm trzecich, na liście można zobaczyć szczegółowo wszystkie aktualizacje

Jest to zdecydowanie najbardziej stabilna wersja AROS x86, jaką kiedykolwiek wydano, wiele poprawek dotyczy Wanderera i kompatybilności sprzętowej, katalog kompatybilności sprzętowej został również przeformułowany, TUTAJ można się z nim zapoznać.

W przypadku instalacji zalecana jest czysta (była nowa) instalacja, ponieważ rdzeń, konfiguracje i lokalizacja niektórych folderów uległy zmianie, ewentualnie dla tych, którzy mają własne konfiguracje, mogą wykonać kopię zapasową i jeśli są kompatybilne, zainstalować je później.

W następnych wydaniach nastąpią ogromne zmiany w rdzeniu, który będzie oparty na najnowszym kodzie źródłowym ABIv11, a zatem na tej samej bibliotece C, co kompilacje ABIv11.

Ponadto zostanie opracowany emulator, który pozwoli 32-bitowym programom AROS-a działać pod 64-bitowym AROS-em.

A ja myslalem ze to umarlo w wersji AROSowej dawno dawno temu.

To, co widać na zrzucie ekranu, to nie BoingIconBar, ale AmiStart.

BoingIconBar jest jednak zainstalowany na AROS One, użytkownik może wybrać, wystarczy jedno kliknięcie, aby zmienić, zobacz ten stary film w załączniku (z poprawką można teraz hot-swap Thema bez restartu)
