Why do they not prepare a plainer version? Why it is necessary to wait for 2-3 years onto the full version products? CS-Lab normal development:
Step 1: A500 + 68030 50 MHz + 128 MB RAM tests OK, CS-530, and A1200 + 68030 50 MHz + 128 MB RAM tests OK, Warp 1230(?).
Step 2: Start preorders, starts the production, starts shipping to buyers.
Step 3. A500 + 68040 40 MHz+ 128 MB RAM tests OK, CS-540, and A1200 + 68040 40 MHz + 128 MB RAM tests OK, Warp 1240.
Step 4: Start preorder, starts the production, starts shipping to buyers.
Step 5. A500 + 68060 50 MHz + 128 MB RAM tests OK, CS-560, and A1200 + 68060 50 MHz + 128 MB RAM tests OK, Warp 1260.
Step 6: Start preorder, starts the production, starts shipping to buyers.
Step 7: The additional functions (68040 50 MHz, 68060 66-100 MHz, CF card, SD card, USB, HDMI, MP3 player, audio card, mapROM, etc.), and other versions (Warp 4060 to A4000) may start development, if the plain versions are ready, if works OK.
This OK at final products: "Family of Warp – All-in-One Amiga Expansion Boards"
I need simple Warp 1260 with 68060 100 MHz (I bought a real, not fake rev. 6 full CPU, 71E41J) and 128-256 MB fast RAM, step 1. If other functions and price OK, then step 2 = I buy full version.
Some plainer products would have been ready last year already. The development of the plus functions = time and time, 3, 6, 12, etc. months.
Coming soon icomp ACA1240+1260 (but i don't want from Jens to shop, price unknown), and TF1260 68060 80 MHz (quality, stability, price unknown). Vampire A1200 available, but this not real CPU, FPGA only, many problems not OK.
4 different groups develop new products, 68060 card to A1200, and I cannot buy a new product!!! I wait CS-Lab products.
