Na prośbę kolegi Deez przeprowadziłem test dysku SSD Intel 80GB mSATA który jest podłączony poprzez adapter mSATA-PATA no-name. Test wykonany na PowerBooku G4 1,67GHz, bufor 128.

No to fajnie, mamy wyniki. A jakieś wnioski konstruktywne? Wykresy?
Ja kiedyś badałem (ten sam?) dysk SSD ze złączem mSATA na (tym samym?) no-name adapterze mSATA->IDE44 tylko pod Miniaczem i nawet jakieś wykreski/tabelki z podsumowaniem zrobiłem. A potem sprawdzałem inny dysk SSD i porównywałem z talerzowcem pod G5 (ech, nawet jakiś artykuł do PPA miał z tego być...). Podzielić się?

Wniosek nasuwa mi się jeden, Wszystko zapier$%#@ aż miło, ekran startowy z konfigiem widzę dosłownie 2 sekundy. No i brak stukotu głowic.
Dobrze że talerzowa stodwudziestka padła, inaczej pewnie nie rozpoczął bym poszukiwania alternatywy dla dysku SSD 2,5" P-ATA firmy Transcend - 64GB za ponad 400pln

Pierwszy z brzegu wykres - File Create, File Open, Directory Scan i File Delete. Trzeba przyznać, że talerzowy SATA w pewnych konkurencjach dotrzymuje kroku :):



A czy ktoś kumaty jest w stanie powiedzieć o co kaman w przypadku "CPU Available"? Czemu to służy? Lepiej jak procent jest tam więcej, czy jak jest mniej?

Dzięki!
Później postaram się wrzucić swoje wyniki. Będzie o tyle ciekawie, że PB G4 mamy takie same. Wstępnie wydaje mi się, że u mnie to gorzej wygląda.
p.s.
Szkoda, że te "bytes/sec" takie nieczytelne są. Mogliby w 3.10 to poprawić.

Tak jak obiecałem, wklejam swoje wyniki, dysk mSATA SSD Plextor M6MV 128GB (nowy) + adapter mSATA-IDE44 niby Delocka ale według mnie to jakaś podróbka chińska (kupiłem używany). PowerBook G4 1.67 GHz (A1139).

Porównałem sobie wyniki z moim SSD i wychodzi na to, że w wielu miejscach mam szybszy odczyt oraz zapis. Zastanawiam się co jest tego przyczyną, skoro mam G4 - 1.5 GHz , raczej wykluczam lepszy dysk SSD, bo przypuszczam, że prędkości rzędu 80-100 MB/s , nie są jakimś specjalnym obciążeniem dla tego typu dysku .

No ja u siebie pod ambientem podczas kopiowania nie widziałem większych transferów jak ~60mb/s. Więc troche lipa jak dla mnie. Nie wiem, mogę podmienić jeszcze adapter na inny (nowy kupiłem), a ten co jest teraz w środku podesłać Tobie, to kiedyś może byś wsadził do testów jakby Ci się chciało. Może to wina adaptera, nie wiem.

Pomyłka! Te ostatnie wyniki nie pochodzą z Pegasosa 2, tylko z PowerBooka G4 1,67GHz (A1138), 2GB RAM.
