NetBSD i Pegasos
Stary nius, ale straciłem nadzieję, że zostanie zamieszczony[1] więc podaję go tutaj. Myślę, że warto wiedzieć o tym co się dzieje w innych systemach operacyjnych.
Mimo zakończenia współpracy firmy Genesi z OpenBSD, deweloperzy NetBSD nie zasypiają gruszek w popiele. Frank Wille poinformował, że zaczął pracę nad portem NetBSD dla PegasosaII

a kilka dni później Jorge Acereda pochwalił się, że udało mu się uruchomic kernel.

Czy użytkownicy Pegasosów podejmą wyzwanie i wesprą projekt?
[1] Mógłbym też wysłać niusa, że dystrybucja Linuksa Gentoo (www.gentoo.org) oficjalnie zaczeła suportować Pegasosa, ale nie wiem czy zamieścicie. Delikatny temat ten Pegasos

Putting the finishing touches on the hard work of several months, the Gentoo/PPC team led by Pieter van den Abeele, and PegasosPPC manufacturer and Gentoo sponsor Genesi have announced official Gentoo/PPC support of Genesi's Open Desktop Workstation family of hardware products. Moreover, Genesi will start selling systems with Gentoo Linux on them, and donate a portion of the profits to the Gentoo Foundation, as soon as the few remaining technical questions are solved this week.
The Gentoo Foundation is very happy about this step towards an even closer partnership with Genesi, and proud of the Gentoo/PPC developers' team effort to support the ODW platform! In-depth coverage of the agreement, the sales, and more information will be published in the next issue of the Gentoo Weekly Newsletter.

To dotyczy ODW (choc sprawa supportu jest raczej symboliczna, bo od dawna Gentoo dzialalo na ODW, bardziej chodzi o reklame sponsoringu Genesi i oficjalnego dolaczania Gentoo z ODW). Oficjalny support dla Pegasosow jest od wersji 2004.1 http://www.pegasos.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=65
