@Wali7 & ALL,
I can assure you two things:
- Our Amiga 1200 cases are going to be way more beautiful than these C64c cases.
- The "finish" of the cases are going to be better as well!
Why?
Because Dallas Moore, the guy who found the original C64 Molds (30 years old molds!!), needed to re-tool them many time to get them in the best shape as possible to run a new batch of cases...
Our molds are brand new molds!
Designed and manufactured under todays modern standards & tools, and the 3D model is made with todays computer as well! These are
nothing like 30 years old molds ;)
You can bet these cases are going to be ROCK SOLID & PERFECT !
@WojT_GL,
Regarding the transparent case, i guess you're worried about the pre-cut lines right ?
Well, nothing much to fear here.
Let me paste the answer i gave to a backer this morning:
"If you touch your actual Amiga 1200 top shell near the AMIGA word, you'll feel that it is a big "rugged" surface. Therefore the transparent case will more be of translucent in fact.
Also understand that the pre-cut line are made of the same translucent plastic.
So unless you're going to have a look at this very place with a magnifying glass, you'll not see much a thing."
What a pre-cut line is?
A pre-cut line is a "line" when the plastic is "thinner" than the regular plastic thickness.
Therefore you can just have to cut-through these pre-cut lines, to finish the job and nicely open the HxC Display ^^
If you have more questions, do not hesitate ;)
Cheers,
