- This is quite far from the truth.
Delays can happen yes.
But we expect this time the project to be completed within a year.
Then if delays occur we don't think those would exceed 6 months.
Again, our partners are comfortable now with huge molds, and they know exactly what is the level of quality the team expects for the cases.
So it'll be faster than for the A1200 cases.

There is no relation between Cases and Keycaps.
A1200 Cases production for wholesalers is now finished. Shipments is currently sent toward them by sea freight.

About the keycaps:
[*] Keycaps are way more expensive to manufacture than cases.
[*] Wholesalers will find it difficult to get a proper margin on that.

In May they will probably change it to "June 2018", in June to "July 2018", etc. I am checking Amiga shops every couple of weeks, I have never seen these cases available, they are always like 'will be restocked soon'.
In my comment earlier, I already shared the information that A1200 cases production for WHOLESALES & RETAILERS is done already.
Cases are on their way ;)
And thank you for your support on the New Amiga 500 cases ;)

So here how it goes.
1- Backers who paid for EXTRA shipping fees, will see their CD32 Themed A1200 case being shipped toward them as soon as the cases are available at our warehouse. (currently sea freight for cases is ongoing)
2- Backers who decided to get both CD32 Keycaps sets + CD32 Themed A1200 cases at the same time in the same parcel, will only receive the CD32 themed A1200 case when the keycaps are available at our UK warehouse.
Long story short,
- For now we see for a complete dispatch of all keycaps and cases to be finished by August/September.
That's my personal forecast. It could be earlier, or slightly later.
There is a lot of factors in here, and the biggest one is language layout/color change of keycaps production being a nightmare.
- Merchandise is transported from China to UK by sea freight and it takes around 5/8 weeks from start to availability in UK warehouse.
- Then packing shipping starts.
I hope my explanations are ok with you guys.
It's a bit complex and I tried to make it the easiest way to understand it.

maybe it's just me but I would support the A500 case collection if I received keycaps first... u took our money and making another campaign before giving us what we paid for... i don't like it...
yes, but you could've done the uk/us layout in white first and ship it to people instead of waiting for everything...we both know other layouts / colors is minority? besides it's been 2 years already... this is being ridicules... but as I said...maybe others think otherwise...

But I must say, that yes, I did not pledge for key caps, for similar, while not exactly the same reason.
When key caps campaign was running, I still have not received A1200 case. I had no doubt that I'll get it - but I wanted to see first with my own eyes if A1200 case will be good enough quality, to support next campaign . A1200 case turned out to be good quality, but when I got it, key caps campaign was over 
. Today, I'd pledge to the key caps, if campaign is run again.
As for A500 case - I must say I am on the edge with it... I do not need A500 case that much, as those cases somehow break less than A1200 ones, and mine, while yellowed, is still O.K...
But A1200 case looked nice, so I'll make final decision tomorrow, if my A500 deserves new shiny housing. Or two .
