So to the news:
Last update:
This is it: Manufactured Case No.1 & No.2! YEAH!
Many Thanks to all of our Polish friends in PPA.PL for their patience.
Mass production is around the corner while we proceed to last verification using a couple cases produced using the new A1200 case molds.
Whatever some people may have said, we made it.
The new molds are here and this is a total of 6 Tons of steel with the name AMIGA on it!
This has been and still is an industrial process.
It required and still requires time.
A lot of it.
Simple as that.
And even original commodore Amiga cases exists as a model, to create new molds to manufacture new cases induces the same amount of work that it's necessary to create molds for any new-never-released product.
In fact it even induces more work to be 100% original.
Remember, these new Official Amiga 1200 cases are licensed by Amiga Inc.
And because of you my friends, this happened for real
Now regarding compatible Keycaps:
The new campaign will be launched when cases mass production starts.
And this is very near now. 7 to 10 days or so.
Campaign will last 60 days.
Backers will receive their cases way before the keycaps campaign ends of course.
Stay tuned for some more update very (VERY!) soon.

Czarna również nie ma napisów przy LCD. Nie spodziewajcie się super tworzyw. Niestety przy ciemnych kolorach będzie to tak wyglądało jak na zdjęciach. Najlepiej będą wyglądać jasne kolory lub transparentne.
Jakoś obecnych granulatów stosowanych do produkcji tworzyw są różne i by obniżyć koszty często wykorzystuje się granulat z najniższych półek.
Granulaty wykorzystywane z najniższych półek często się jeszcze lakieruje.
Granulaty, które wykorzystuje np firma Apple, Sony są z górnych półek, często stosowane tworzywa ABS i brak w nich tego typu "zacieków" a i tak firmy lakierują powierzchnie tworzyw.

Wszystko to są domniemania i gdybania. Musicie poczekać i się uzbroić w cierpliwość.
To nie jest takie proste jakby się mogło wydawać każdemu. Ważne są nawet otwory wpustowe (wlewowe), a wszelkie najmniejsze nie dociągnięcia później widać gołym okiem.
Nawet nie zdajecie sobie sprawy ile godzin pracy wymaga stworzenie matrycy, która "wypluje" ładną obudowę. O wiele łatwiej by było ją wykuć z kawałka skały czy wyrzeźbić.
Tworzy się"negatyw" - matrycę następnie testuje i sprawdza - to ogromna praca, a jeżeli to wykonuje jedna osoba (nie wiem jak w tym przypadku jest) to naprawdę szacun!
