It was intended to be used in AmigaOS. The idea was that the card processors would run a special version of Exec, essentially a "headless" version, and basically function as networked processors. We had some trouble with the new Buster prototype these required (new chip process at CSG), and by the time they were fixed, no one had any time left for the Gemini project
